Becoming a coach

Greenhithe Football Club encourages anyone to be a coach! Without coaches, our kids cannot play. With the number of children playing, and with smaller team sizes we need more coaches than ever -, particularly for the midgets!

Coaches can be anyone; mums, dads, older siblings, grandparents, and friends that are simply keen to be involved and give it a go! You don't need to know all the rules in great detail - you just need to like children and be able to train once a week and attend games on Saturdays.

Coaches are provided with:

• A full kit of gear for each team,
• Junior program and support 
• The club will also pay costs if coaches wish to attend formal coaching training for coaching licenses through NFF/NZF.

Each year many of the coaches from the previous year 'graduate' with their older children so please strongly consider being a coach - sport is a great way to be involved with your children!
